 Popular Karaoke host, Carl Benson may be headed for Hollywood. Apparently talks between American Idol host Ryan Seacrest and FOX have broken down. Benson apparently received a text message from Rupert Murdoch pleading with him to consider taking over Idol.
Benson says that he is currently undecided, but would find it difficult to believe that FOX could put together a package lucrative enough to draw him away from Danny's Deep Creek Pub. If FOX could pull it off, it would most assuredly mean that Jennifer would fill the vacant seat left by Paula Abdul.
Entertainment prognosticators feel that if Benson makes the jump to FOX, deposed Tonight Show host, Conan O'Brien would likely grab the open slot at Danny's. |

Deep Creek resident Mitch Elliot has been seen in the company of Paris Hilton. Apparently Elliot picked Hilton up at the Punta Gorda airport last Friday night. She arrived at 2:07am on a $59 flight from Buffalo, New York.
Elliot has repeatedly denied being with Hilton, or even knowing her. He was interviewed by reporters at Danny's Deep Creek Pub early Saturday afternoon. At the time, Ellliot was enjoying some baked wings with 'Red Devil' sauce. When asked what he thought about the 'Red Devil' sauce, Elliot responded, "That's Hot!" |
